Sunday School occurs September – June from 9:15 – 10:15 a.m. during our 9:15 worship service. It is for all ages! We begin each year with Celebration Sunday, the Sunday after Labor Day. Celebration Sunday brings our church family together to celebrate education opportunities, registering children for Bible Trek, meeting teaching teams, fun and fellowship. Classes begin the following Sunday. We also offer nursery care during
Sunday school and worship for infants and toddlers through age three.
 
With Scripture as its central focus, our Sunday school classes offer a time to actively engage and recognize God the Father, build relationship with the Living Christ, and gratefully accept the comfort and counsel of the Holy Spirit, and to work toward bringing the peace and grace of the Triune God to the world.
 

  • Children in PreK4 - 4th grade attend Bible Trek, which promotes learning Bible stories and concepts through various hands-on learning activities. We explore the same Bible story for several weeks using learning activities such as Art, Drama, Bible Skills, Cooking, Missions, Music, Movies, and Science. During each unit we also memorize a treasure verse related to the story and participate in a mission project.
  • Youth in 5th & 6th grade, as well as 7th & 8th grade explore how to put their faith in motion as they build their relationship with Christ and examine how to live out their faith during the challenging times of adolescence.
  • High school youth choose the books of the Bible and current issues they’d like to study. They occasionally assist with Bible Trek.
  • Adults currently have two classes from which to choose. The Sojourners class offers topical Bible and Christian book studies; our second class offers Bible Study in a large group setting.

 
In addition to Sunday school, we offer Children’s Church for children ages 4 – 2nd grade during the 11:00 a.m. worship service. After the “Children’s Parable,” these children are dismissed to Children’s Church for engaging, Bible-centered activities that conclude at the end of worship.
