New Look in the Library

If you haven't been in our library lately, you haven't noticed our new look, or at least the beginning of our new look. About eighty new books have been added to the shelves, and the shelves rearranged to be more reader-accessible. More books will be added in the various categories over the next few months.

Our goal is to have a church library that is truly a quality Christian resource center for our congregation. Toward that end we are starting with books that we feel are of real interest and value to many, with plans to update in all relevent areas as time goes on.

A complete list of our new additions can be found with the sign-out materials. We have all of Eugene Peterson's books, as well as a good representation of Philip Yancey, Madeleine L'Engel, Henri Nouwen. C.S. Lewis, Frederick Buechner, Richard Foster, and many others.

Also, look for write-ups of some of our books by readers from the congregation in future issues of the" Amen."

Judging from the comments made to us and the staff, and from the increased activity in the "Books Out" file, many of you have already found and are using the library. If you haven't yet seen our new collection, enter the Educational Building by the door closest to the church, walk to the end of the corridor, and there we are, on the left. We even provide comfortable seating.

More later, and good reading!
